Mental Health ReformLGBT Ireland, and BeLonG To would like to invite you to join us on the 24th November 2020 for a seminar exploring mental health and the LGBTI+ community.

The event will explore themes including the need for better access to mental health services and supports for people in the LGBTI+ community as well as the impact of COVID-19 on services.
 
Speakers will include:

  • Professor Agnes Higgins - TCD and Chair of Mental Health Reform,
  • Vanessa Lacey - Health & Education Manager with TENI, 
  • Paula Fagan - CEO of LGBT Ireland, and, 
  • Moninne Griffith - CEO of BelongTo.

We will also have contributors from the LGBTI+ community speaking about their lived experiences of accessing mental health services and supports. The full event listing will be announced in the coming weeks.
 
There will also be a number of artistic presentations and performances, including morning mindfulness and chair yoga. This promises to be an inclusive and dynamic event that is not to be missed.
 
This event will be of particular interest to people in the LGBTI+ community, family and friends as well as those working in mental health services, youth and community workers, patient advocates, academics, and to those with lived experience of accessing mental health services.
