AOTI Survey on HSE Panel System of Recruitment - AOTI Survey closing 7th July 12 noon

To inform our advocacy work on this important issue for members we are carrying out a survey on occupational therapists' experience of the HSE panel system of recruitment

AOTI was scheduled to meet with Anne Marie Hoey, HSE National Director of HR, on Thursday 2nd July but this meeting has unfortunately been postponed. We have written to Ms Hoey stating that while we understand how busy her role is and that postponements can happen, we are frustrated that our meeting with her has been postponed for the third time in the last 6 months. Each time we have lined up staff and members to make themselves available only to have the meeting cancelled at short notice. Ms Hoey has offered an alternative meeting date of next Wednesday 8th July and we sincerely hope that this meeting will go ahead as planned. Assuming it does we will send members an update following it.

We are taking the opportunity of the postponement of the meeting to carry out a quick survey on occupational therapists' experience of the HSE panel system of recruitment. Participation is only suitable for those who have experience of the panel system, either as an applicant or as Manager/interviewer. Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey and/or share it with your OT colleagues and friends.  You can find the survey here:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/52DPJG8

The survey will be open until 12 noon on Tuesday 7th July 2020. We will share the results with members in due course.
